Hi..

I have been searching all over sl (well not all over, its too big for that) for a particular leather texture that i have seen on a lot of pieces fo furniture.

the easiest place that comes to mind is the xcite stiore, the leather texture is on the sofa set ion the main foyer there.

i have contacted the creator of the furniturre and they told me they made it and wont share it, which is fair enough, but i have seen the exact same texture on furniture by at least 5 other creators and they all tell me they made it.

im wondering if it actaully is for sale anywhere.

if anyone happens to know the texture im talking about, and knows where i can find it, please let me know.. :)

You should post a screenie of what you're talking about, that will dramatically improve your chances of getting a decent answer.

I've looked around a lot for leather, and quickly found there is a lack of it. So, I do the next rational thing...I create my own, or look online. If you don't know how to create your own texture (either tilable or detail), then you will be stuck with the SL choices, or somthing premade on the web.

Why don't you take a screengrab and show us.

It's likely that they used a filter in photoshop to make the texture, I know of a couple that can make leather textures fairly easily. I agree though, post a screenie so we could give more information.

Textures-R-Us and Textures Unlimited come to mind if you want to see what they have to offer.
