I am part of a trivia show held at The Shelter in Wingo. I'm looking for new sponsors to provide prizes. It's only 2 prizes per week. These can be in the form of Lindens, gift certificates or products. (PG products and businesses only please) We will list your business and location on a big board on the stage as well as in a notecard the contestants can take. This is how I found a lot of shops when I first started Second Life. The Shelter is a big newbie hangout so you will reach a lot of new customers. Plus, if they win one of your prizes they are very likely to shop with you in the future. Please contact Moriganne Balogh if you are interested in becoming a sponsor.

Thanks

Correct me if im wrong, but isnt a big noobie hangout a bad thing? Because newbies tend not to have money, or payment info on file, so even if they did win a prize, they might look at your shop, but they would have no money to buy anything.

A confused person :)

We were all noobies at one time with no money to spend. Besides, I know plenty of my friends with 'no payment info on file' do still buy lindens to spend. Don't let that 'tag' fool you.

Moriganne, contact me and maybe i can set something up with you. :)

We have a very loyal crowd of older residents as well as drawing in the newbies. You've got to entice the newbies to want to buy Lindens to get your fabulous products. Plus we offer cash prizes as well, that they can then go spend in your store.

I love The Shelter and frequent it as often as my SL will allow. Unfortunately, I haven't been there for a while. I can vouch for the "oldbies" and "oddbies" being there quite a lot.

Moriganne: I am calling my house right now to leave myself a message to send you some goodies. I'll IM you or Reina or Travis when I get on this evening.

I can give Gift Certificates for DJ or host training - a great noob gift. They can get the skills to make enough money to buy stuff in Ross Stringer's shop:P
