80s Sweaters or Sweater Dresses

I actually have several sweaters and sweater dresses I really like, but they are all plain colors. I'd like some wildly patterned, mid-thigh sweaters/sweater dresses that just scream 1987 - bulky knits, vivid colors, large patterns. I'd prefer a nice crew or cowl neck, though a turtleneck might be okay too.

I have a solid colored turtleneck sweater dress from FORSAKEN in my inventory, for starters.

I did a little search just out of curiosity and didn't turn up any wild prints, but plenty of solids.

I was actually prompted to look for 80s sweater dresses to go with a pair of HOC pumps with legwarmers I bought after seeing them in the forums yesterday... lol

I figured leggings or tights would be simple enough to make myself, and I have some nice ankle boots that seem very 80s to me.



*blush* I have to admit, I have that dress in three colors already - though not purple. Yet...

Well, shucks. I was hoping patterned sweaters were out there and I was just missing seeing them. I guess there is more of a limited market than for solid colors. If I find anything, I'll post - just in case there's any interest.

I didn't narrow my search by category at all, which is probably why I got more results than you did. I just typed "sweater dress" in the main search.

The new HOC shoes with legwarmers are hella cute, I love her shoes so much! I think I have all of her shoes... even the men's...
