Okay, so I have voice now. Yay! But my av is standing still when I talk. NOT yay. Has anyone done a talking animation overrider?

There is a folder of Voice Gestures in your Library. Activate them.

Then once you’ve activated them and see what they look like be prepared to deactivate them :p

RC - Advanced - Character - Enable Lip-Sync

is useful, too.

Oh wow! Just tried that. Seems like it’s a short animation loop activated when you speak. Its beta but hopefully they’ll expand on the mouth movement. Could be cool or could be creepy. I’ll have to see how others look using it. I found the flailing of the arms with voice gestures to be too much motion and distracting. This could be the same. But its nice to have choices.

The combination of the RC lip-synching and the voice gestures looks okay to me, really. I'll use it for now until someone comes up with a more realistic and natural looking product :)

Sort of. The viewer generates these dynamically, and if all is working well if should vary a little with the detected voice.

On the wiki is a nice summary of how it's implemented, and some tweaks you can make.
