You know those return scripts they have in boats & surfboards... even dance poseballs.

Does anyone have one that I can put in my chairs. I know they sell one but those arent the chairs I want to use. A friend of mine build beautiful seats but they dont get used often so leaving them our on the dance floor just uses up prim space. But if I could a attach a return script to them. They can be used and not be left out.

Does anyone have that Script for me... and if its not TOO expensive I'd like to buy it.

Thank you... God I pray someone could help me.

/me isn't sure she understands.

You (or a script) are just rezzing the chairs when they're needed? If so, you could make them temp objects. With that, the sim won't delete it if somebody's sitting on it. Just make really, REALLY sure they're not no-copy. When a sim deletes a temp object, it's gone - no returning to your inventory or your trash.

AFAIK, there's no way for a script to return something to inventory.

Or maybe you can delete the chair if the avatar is unsit from the chair

rez the chair then wait for a while if no avatars are siting delete itself, if avatar sit on the chair delete the chair if the av unsit.

Setting it to temp will do exactly that. If nobody sits for a minute, it goes away. If somebody sits, it won't go away while they're there and will poof once they stand up.

I was thinking like surfboards or boats you click a box and the surfboard comes up so you can use it and when you stand from it it disappears.

I wanted something similar for chairs, but the avitar stands where they want the chair to be, click a box and the chair comes to them. When they stand the chair disappears.

Can the rez thing your talking about Meade do that?

you can just grab my self-paced tutorial LSL 111 about rezzing objects. It contains a full perm example for a rezzer script and explains how temporary objects work.
