You need to enable private messages. Most of the people here who would work with and for you would prefer to send you a pm.

Most quality skins go for around 2000L. That's not for custom skins.

Maybe I'm off base, but I'd expect to pay upwards of 10,000L (maybe more depending on certain factors). For the really professional skin artists you might pay more. Skins are a lot tougher and take more talent than shapes (imo)...

3000L is about $10 or $12 US.

Making a skin from scratch is 40 to 80 hours' work for an experienced skin artist. (Source: a thread in the texturing forums. I forget which one.)

Modifying a skin to precisely suit a given shape is - well, I don't know for sure, but I'd expect it to be multiple hours work. 5? 10? 20? How precise do you want to be?

So you're going to need to offer the artist something that will tempt them to spend many hours on the thing you want. Some might like the challenge. Some might be interested in making a skin & shape that they can also sell to others. Some might do it for the hell of it.

But bear in mind that $10 or $12 is what you offer a teenager to mow your lawn. To tempt a highly skilled artist to spend 10 hours on something for you, you need to offer a tad more than that. ;)
