Hello, can someone please help! I have seen a dancer wearing what looked like a glossy skin, it looked like her skin was covered in oil. It would be great for the beach. I asked nicely, but she ignored me! Does anyone know where to find it, as I have searched for latex, transparent etc, and have only found a bikini and socks. Thankyou for any help X

There are body oils available to wear as layers out there (Just search SLExchange for 'body oil' and you'll find them)... they take up clothing layers, but generally retail for around $L100. In addition some skinmakers sell oiled looks...
For example, Chip Midnight has a nice one avaiable for $L1500...

Trilobiteware in Hundertwass has Tintable Latex Catsuits, in 2 layers the base color and the shiney coating, just skip the bottom layer

(quaint lil' musicbox, turn-of-last-century, slightly off-tune; the handle begins turning by itself, and after a couple turns the top pops open and nyoko pops out with a poof of dust and a cough, dusts off her top hat, brandishes her cane and begins tapdancing lightly...) hi!! Sizzling hot!! This unique set of 'clothes' will actually give you the appearance of having lathered on a nice, protective coat of suntan lotion. This astounding eight-piece set should allow you to fit whatever ensemble together that you like! Undershirt/pants, shirt/pants, two lengthed jackets, socks and gloves!! 512-sized textures, fast-loading!! I usually wear the short jacket + pants over my bikinis, but there's lots of pieces to play with! Perhaps the gloves and socks would add a provocative touch underneath a formal dress.. Ohh! And as a bonus, try putting on as many pieces for a SIZZLING CLEAR LATEX look!! (tosses a lil' sand to the floor and starts doin' a lil' soft-shoe...) and thanks to customer request, a new, softer variation for formals and more casual use!! ... and both are mod-able to custom-tint to match your own skin and look!! thanks a lot for asking... take care; have lots of sllllipp'ry fun!! (nyoko strangely folds up as if a piece of paper and slips back inside the box which closes with a sweet lil' 'snap'!!) musicbox: sets starting at only 100Ls!! >•merp•<

there's also KDC and Kayliwulf Kingdom. Both sell transparent "Latex" outfits. (and some really nicely tinted ones as well!

I've got a set of Nyoko's body oils, and they really are effective. You get garments for every layer, so you can layer them with as many outfits as possible. (The set includes underpants, undershirt, pants, shirt, gloves, socks, and two lengths of jacket -- a short one that combines with the pants for full coverage, and a longer one that combines with the socks.) The underwear layers work well with dresses and shorts; try the shirt and pants OVER a bikini or lingerie for a hot beach look. Yes, it will also make the garment look shiny, but that's not always a bad thing.
The one shortcoming; there is no way to add gloss to your face with them. That's an SL limitation; there are no "clothing" layers there, so the only way to add shine to the face would be with a skin, or with a transparent prim mask.
