Birthday cake and maybe party favors

So I've got a milestone RL birthday coming up and decided to throw myself a bash so I could party down with all my SL friends. (All you forumites are invited, btw - I'll be sending a note to the owners of the group in-world so they can pass it on, or you can IM me...)

I've secured a club, sweet-talked a DJ, and set a date and time. I've been looking around in SL and on XStreet for a birthday cake, but so far nothing has really grabbed me. Any recommendations for shops/creators?

Also, it would be nice to have some kind of party favor to hand out. I made a really dorky party hat and I may include that, but I'd like to have a nice gifty or two as well. It would need to be full perm (to me; I can change it before handing it out if need be) or no-copy/trans in large enough numbers for me to hand out, at an affordable price per unit.

What am I forgetting? Anything else I need to think about?

Off to do some digging in my inventory and other looking around... thanks in advance for any help!

After testing many, I've settled on a cake from Divivity. There was another I really liked the look of, but this one handed out the best slices with the best eating animation, so now everyone can eat cake. :-)

Still open to party favor-type ideas, if anyone has suggestions. If not, I should be set.

hmmm.. what kind of party favors are you looking for? I have some paper hats, beaded necklaces and fluffy boas... Things like that?

I'm not sure, actually. I'm torn between wanting to give my friends something to mark the occasion and not wanting to stuff their inventories...

I do have a paper hat I made, so maybe I'll just go with that.

Thanks, though.

It's been a while, but I wanted to add to this thread that I was contacted in-world by Redd Columbia, owner of -RC- Cluster, who has traditional birthday decorations/games such as Pin the Tail on the Donkey and a pinata, as well as a birthday cake. I only had time for a quick browse through the store, but it looks like there's a lot of fun non-birthday stuff there as well.

In addition, I bought wedding bubbles from Kress Kreations, and later touched base with the owner, Kesseret Steeplechase, who relabeled a set 'party bubbles' for me - expect to see them at future parties of mine.

Thanks, Redd and Kesseret!
