Looking for a suit, I kid you not.

I've been out for days now looking for a very particular kind of formal wear - a male-style formal business suit made to fit a female avatar.

I obviously got more than one texture-based suit, and these are trivial to come by, priced both for free, peanuts and exorbitantly. None of these are quite to my liking, because on a female shape they only happen to look anywhere half-decent by pure chance, if ever, with the tie rolling into a tube... At least nobody seems to notice the buttons are on the wrong side. And yes, I want a tie.

There are a few suits which include a skirt part, and they do look better. Unfortunately, my favored shape has the waist just a bit smaller than standard, which results in an obvious, annoying gap between the skirt and the body and makes non-prim skirts useless in almost all cases.

I would probably get the best results with a suit that includes a prim lapels and tie assembly, as well as a flexi prim 'skirt' for the lower part of the jacket, however, the only suits constructed this way I've seen so far have been Victorian-era outfits in Caledon and Babbage, and these, while otherwise nice, aren't what I want, since I want a tie and not a lacy neckerchief. Not to mention that usually, the minimum size I can adjust attachments to is too big for my shape as well.

Does something like this even exist, or am I better off trying to roll my own?

Hey Rika,
while suits aren't on my shopping list, at least I'm always looking for ties as prim attachments. You could check out these places:
- Musahi-Do in Anton 95, 158, 103 (L$35 for a single one)
- Hasendow in Dachstein 161, 47, 506 (L$30 single, L$120 fatpack)
- Armidi ... umm, their own isle :) (L$88 I believe per colour, three styles included)

Blaze has a nice suit in various colours for women. I believe it's called 'columbina' and they may have more than just the one.

Mmm...just search for Blaze, it's got formal wear, mostly.

Good luck finding your suit!

Rika, I have a number of suits. IM me in world and I'll model them for you if you like.

As for the system skirt...there will ALWAYS be a gap between the skirt and your waist, it's not your shape, but just the way the avatar mesh is made. Having said that, some system skirts look lots better than others.

Blaze does have some nice women's suits. Check out their "power suit". There's another rather nice one in leather, too.

I found a very nice two piece (jacket and pants) suit at Mischief recently.
