I have a friend named Misty Ruby who makes great name gestures. Look her up, and tell her I sent you. :)

Name Gestures have not only local chat text but a sound component as well.
The Sound is usually someone speaking the actual name in a cute way with
or without a music byte layered onto it. Then all is assembled into a gesture
that is Timed perfectly to sync up the finished sound & local chat text together.
Therefore - the person's name must be recorded special in order to produce
a unique sound clip for the gesture.

Most people who have been to SL clubs will run across these special
gestures that combine sound with text and even animations.
