Simple Script needed

i have been learning scripting but need a simple one but stuck as i cant get a animation to work when you walk or get close to an object i would be very grateful of any help with this script

since it's not something attached or sat on. it wouldn't automatically play the animation unless it was previously given permission to animate the avatar that's near/walking on it. sitting on or wearing something that animates you avatar bypasses the menu needed to grant the permissions. so if you need to ask for permissions before the person needs to actually be animated, you would need a sensor that senses when they enter the area that will ask for permissions. it wouldn't be very practical. you could though...if the usage fits what you need it for......sell/give a hud to the avatar that contains the animations and the script to animate them, have them wear it, and when they get near the object, it will send a command to the hud to animate the avatar
