Script to simulate power grid and RP elements

Im looking for a scripter to create a set of full perm scripts that can work for a RP type power grid

Most simple example would be like the way power works in the Sim City game

the specific RP i will be using them for is to simulate the power grid on a space station, but can be modded to work with other stuff

the specifics would require a power source, the power lines (nodes on the station) and something to turn the scripts on and off to simulate the power running or out

it would be nice to have the power source and nodes "degrade" over time, requiring "maintenance" or replacement, giving the RP-ing engineers something to do, possible a HUD based script that gives them options to pick replacement parts up from a central storage spot, scan a node to see its status or % remaining, and how they interact with a node when near it, that way they cant hold 5 million replacement parts and fix everything at once, they will have to physically go get the replacement and come back to install it

if there is a break in the line, all nodes past that point would stop receiving power, lights would go out, screens would go dark, and any scripts in those objects would turn off to simulate them running out of power.

im not sue the best way to connect one node to the next, whisper or say on an invisible channel, unless there is possibly a better way to make it work, same with the objects that are connected to a node, so they know if they lost power or not, to shut the scripts off

Please contact me in world if you have any questions or feel free to come to the sim i'm working on the station at, it will give a much better view on the scale of the project
