Special Costume

I have seen a few people wearing mustard and ketchup bottles in world. My wife LIVES for Dr. Pepper and was hoping to find a wearable Dr. Pepper bottle.

If anyone knows where I can find one or can make one I would be extremely grateful.

Do you have some Dr. Pepper labels around your house? If not, grab the logo off the web. (Don't sell this as it will be trademarked) Build a cylinder that when attached to her avies spine covers her completely, or to the extent she desires. Either make a texture that has the metallic sheen of a sodacan with this logo in the center or color/shine your cylinder and layer the logo on the outside by putting in an alpha channel. If none of this makes sense, or you want a more sophisticated can with a poptop texture/invisiprims to reduce it down to a very small size/etc you may have to pay someone to make it. I've seen tons of modifiable soda cans inworld that could serve as your inspiration once their drink anims are yanked.

Sounds complicated to me. I can do a lot of things on this computer but graphics and the like I am completely horrible at. I will probably end up paying someone to make it.

You might want to re-consider using a Dr Pepper logo, unless you have permission from the Dr. Pepper Bottling company. Since that is a trademarked logo, it is a TOS violation and AR-able. I personally know one person who recieved a several day ban for using the Harley Davidson logo on products they made.

RL Company's take their trademarks very seriously because even if it's intended for personal use, with no intent to sell or in any way make money (even our L$ which in turn can be exchanged for real $), a usage which they might infer to harm or damage their corporate brand and how people feel about it, can be actionable to the corporation. Because Linden might be included in such action, it's a TOS violation (the fact that it isn't allowed gives them a defense).

Perhaps you might want to go into Photoshop and design something similar in appearance, but NOT the trademarked logo or the trademarked name (yes, I know other trademarked names are used in SL.... that doesn't make it right, and they get weeded out eventually).

change it to Mr. Pepper.. case solved
