Looking to compile building TOOLS/programs!

Hi! I'm just venturing out into building and I've recently discovered that homg I can make TRANSPARENT clothes! Yeah, don't laugh. I'm new to building...

Which is why I want tools to help me out until I get better on my own.

I want to make it all pretty much. I want to make items, outifts, skins, hair, and poses. The only thing I am not interested in is architecture.

I have noticed many tools on slexchange. I would love to compile a list of tools to use either in game or on your computer. Depending on how this goes, I hope to offer the list as a resource for anyone!

best thing you can do for yourself is to take classes to begn, then experiment, and if you can find one get a mentor.

if you look in the cntrl-F-classifides_events-subset education- you'll find all sorts of classes. no need to pay L's there's many free, like NCS? i think that's one., or other schools like rockridge, etc....

the classes will give you freebie supplies and are in all categories from hair to clothes to jewelry, which is what it looks like your interests are. once you have a few of those under your belt, then pick something to make and go for perfection.

it'll take many frustrating, patient tries, but in a while, you'll be as good as anyone.

to sell your stuff though will take alot and i mean alot of originality, which i might add is in overabundance here as there's many copies of copies here.

also, build up your build inventory, organize it and shop, shop, shop.

as far as building tools, you'll need a graphics program like photoshop to put in custom textures. if you can't afford that one, there's lots of freebies out there. you'll need a good sculptie program like sculpt studio, and a good animation program like blender. blender's free, sculpt studio's around 4k L's. but of course you can find most of what you want w/ full perms just about anywhere. just don't use singlely, mix it in your creative mesh.

on xstreet alone you can type in a search, then set the search from 0L's to highest and as long as you have 1L in there you're golden for anything that's free. hehe.
