Is this really so difficult? All I am looking for is a reasonable walk for a woman which is not (a) priority 4 - only idiots set walks to p4, I'm sorry, it interferes with almost every scripted attachment that uses animations, certainly the ones I write and need to test; and (b) doesn't look like a damn teenager trying to be "sexy".
Just, you know, walking and not looking like a caricature. This can't be that hard surely. Oh, and yes, it should actually be a decent walk and not look like I am skating over ice or otherwise be out of sync with movements.

I'm not sure about priority, but I found some not too swishy ones at a place called Body Language. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Koenji/181/84/44

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

maybe find one you like ordinal and IM the creator, see if you can get them to send you a lower priority version.

I went back and looked...the ones I mentioned are unfortunately all marked P4.

I'm fairly certain Kamilah Hauptmann's "Complete Lady" AO walk is less than priority 4, since I don't have to turn it off to ride my horses. It is a little bit more bluestocking than her other Victorian AOs.

It has P4 and P3 walks.
There's a weirdness that if an avatar say, falls off a curb they may get stuck in a quasi-noob walk hybrid to the walk itself. It sucks, but that's the way it is.
I include the P3 for those who wish to carry a parasol or the such. I'll send one kit your way, Ordinal. (If you feel the need, take it out on an RFL kiosk.)

For a female walk that's not too "sexy" I used to use an Abranimations one. I'm currently using Torrid's AO walk, it's a bit more fashiony than the Abranimations one but still natural rather than skanky. Most female walks are terrible. Ankles pass through each other, a$$ stuck out, hips so far out from side to side it's a wonder you don't fall sideways.

Ankles passing through eachother, and such has to do with the avatar proportions. Measurements of limbs vary from shape to shape increasing or decreasing distance between the joints. Either you go into appearance and modify your shape so the animation is played satisfactory or you keep searching for walks and other animations that fit your present shape.

The trouble I've seen with non-P4 walks is that sometimes your AO catches on too quickly (who'ulda thunk) and parts of the default walk take over. The end result is a silly combination of the duckwalk shuffle and whatever sway is left in the AO animation. (=_=)
/me uses a combination of Temp - Sassy Gurl, Tohru poses, and two Mamesando AO sets. (^_^)y

well if you have patience and cannot find what you are looking for , Linden labs is working on deploying a normal default walk to replace the current "duck waddle".

Maybe try and start create your very own from one of the many programs that create 3D animations, such as Poser or the Qavimator or such, just suggestion
