Hi

am looking for a script for my collar that would allow my owner to view any locations I have visited and also see in-world chat (but not IMs). I had this before on a collar but it isn't a feature of the one I wear now, was wondering whether someone could sell me a bangle or ring that would do the same thing?

thanks!

If I talk to someone in local and I notice somebody else not in chatrange can log or listen in on that chat, I AR them for sure. Be aware, I am absolutely not the only one that hates such spygadgets and as far as I know, against TOS

ooo that told me then lol!

I was under the impression that it was only IM monitoring that broke TOS, and as this is a private consensual thing it isn't up to you to moralise at me. Keep your bible at home, honey.

But still no luck. did have a quick look at XLstreet but don't really know what I am searching for so drew a little blank :)

I often wonder if the "Master/Mistress/ really wants to spend their time reading their subs logs. Hell if they are someone who is chatty it could take them ages to catch up on it all.

Actually, any device that monitors chat and relays the chat to someone or something else is considered "Remotely monitoring conversations" and is against the Community Standards unless you have consent from everyone within range of the device relaying chat. It really doesn't matter if the remote monitoring device is disguised as a flower pot, an invisible cube or if you wear it as a collar, it could get you into trouble if it were discovered!

oo, well I don't really go anywhere, and would always inform people. Can't be any different than some bozo copying and pasting from logs? And is much less horrid than someone pasting up your ims to a third party!

All chat on my computer is stored in a text file ... what I do with that is my business. If sharing those logs is against TOS, then message logging would be too. So stop being silly :)

The only difference is that I am removing my ability to edit the text before I send it on, in effect, so stop trolling my thread with this nonsense. If you can't help, just keep out!

Actually you are incorrect. Feel free to take a peek at the Community Standards that you agreed to when entering SL. http://secondlife.com/corporate/cs.php

A nice look at #4 clearly states the following:
Remotely monitoring conversations, posting conversation logs, or sharing conversation logs without consent are all prohibited in Second Life and on the Second Life Forums.

But hey, if you want to go ahead and wear a device that does just that, it is your call, just do not be surprised if someone discovers it and submits an AR when you do not get their permission.

Oh and by the way, this is a public forum which means you posted a request in public and any member of the community has the right to respond to it. There is no ownership on the forums other then LL. Also, you may want to do a lil lookup on what trolling is, since it most certainly is not responding to a post with accurate and helpful information.

Good luck.

Just a few things come to mind here, "would always inform people" so you will tell each person in an open area that your chat will be sent to this "Master/Mistress?

My chat is also logged on my HD but its for me to use to remind me what i have discussed wit ppl or if needed to send in a report if needed to LL.

Has your "owner" asked you to do this? if he/she has then I question the issue of trust btw you both and also your comment about removing your ability to edit.
Other option is get your owner to get the collar that has the script in it then
