For men and women, clothing that looks like what people wear in RL to sail. Please no, not another nautically themed miniskirt :)

E.g.: Really nicely detailed versions of:

Sailing shoes (topsiders), with the right tread please!

Foul weather gear (yellow hat, rain slicker, rain pants. Could do a cheap version in latex texture, and an expensive 'gortex' version that was actually baggy)

Shorts (probably cargo-like, with a leatherman-like thing at waist)

Sailing gloves

Sun visors (it would be really cool if you could set text labels via notecard/chat like collars, so you could put the boat name on the hat)

Nautical ties for men

Nautical belts

etc....

p.s. I asked at Starboards, if you make clothing it would be worth your while to do this, a LOT of sailors would buy it.

Did you ever get any feedback on this? I'd be interested in it too, especially topsiders, and shorts for men and women.

No. Altho when Chip recently released his new sculptie shoes, I sent him an impassioned plea for topsiders, including a link to sperry's topsider web page, lol!

I've seen sailing gloves and a few other goodies in one of the stores in Sailor's Cove. It was towards the far side of the boardwalk, to the left as you face the water.
