shopoholics please help find *begs*

Ok all you shop-a-holics out there... I need help finding an outfit I saw among you bold and beautiful avies out there.

On my travels one day I came across a lady wearing a long sweater coat type outfit with prim belt and prim "skirt" for the bottom of the long sweater coat. The texture was an open cable knit in a cream color. The type of sweater that looks awesome with jeans ya know...

Anyway the gal modeling the fine warm fuzzy was not willing to share where she found such a cozy creation .... hey im all for being original but geez the creator of that should be recognized for fine work by having their name referred IMHO... dont keep things like that a secret people!

Ok so who knows what im talking about and where i can find it? Ive searched high and low for days and actually that was fun i came across some fabulous designers i didnt know were out there... but I just have to have that sweater coat.... If you know where i might find that sweater coat or even something similar please leave the name here as im sure a lot of people will want the sweater type outfits for the cold months coming... ok at least us northerners will.

your description sounds like something i've seen at bare rose.

I have no idea, but if you right click>More>Inspect someone's worn prims, it will give you the creator's name.

and yes i tried bare rose i thought that too maybe i need to go back and look some more. ty

This is something new LLABs put in a little while again. It only goes for attachments.

Was the sweater coat open in front, showing the stomach, but long in the back? If so, this can be found at UK Couture. they have it in cream and dark gray... I believe. If I am online, IM me and I'll show it to you if you want! *once I can log back in that is*

I don't know if you found the sweater coat at Bare Rose or not, but if you didn't, I seem to recall it was on the right-hand side of the new items area as you face the stage, on the display closest to the stage.

ive been back and forth to bare rose i keep crashing there going to try again lol... and sorry i dont have a pic the gal poofed on me too quick or i would have got one in fact i snapped it as she poofed and with the delay i got empty space as she disappeared

Ive tried many designer shops, such as Stellar, Last Call etc.... i kind of knew it wasnt their design the texture wasnt their unique designs. The texture and build was similar to bare rose if i could get that sim to be stable for me

thank you everyone for your help I will leave no stone unturned til i find that sweater hehe...or at least til i buy every other sweater out there on the market lol

When BareRose is being horribly laggy and I can't check the shop itself I often use the blog to see if something I like is there. Whilst not everything's shown it can be useful to doublecheck if an item's from the store if it's been released recently. It might be worth checking and looking through the archives to see if the coat's there and if it is sending a friend who doesn't crash there along to get it. http://toriheart.blogspot.com/

Jade, try Tres Beau. I can't be sure if what you are talking about is there, but Kimmera has a lovely cable knit sweater set with pants. It's cream too.

Jade, you might want to try Veshi, they have a really great fall coat. Also you might want to try caLLie cLine's store because she has some nice sweater coat things!

Only problem is it comes with pants, not a skirt so the skirt would still be a mystery.

I have the sweater myself, only I stretched the collar a bit. Comes in four colors (and you get them all.) Quite lovely.

While we're at it, I'm looking for this one, but redesigned. It's a sweater coat from Lo Jacobs which I got a couple years ago, made with a system skirt. The only problem I have with it is the texture stretches out of shape on the system skirt. Lo doesn't have a shop anymore, but I hear she's back. Anyone see one like this anywhere?

Sansarya, that is way close to what I saw... i hope she is back designing seems to have a knack for cloths. and yep i have that sweater from barerose... and tres beau is my best friend kimmie so i definately have her things. Thank you all so much for your help. Im going to keep my eyes open but I am moving RL so it will have to wait for now. Maybe i will find it for christmas hehe.


PS... i tried to search for "VESHI" and found nothing under places and a few returns on person's name but no info for a store turned up. Can you offer more info? ty
