A bot script that would allow for roleplay. Not a security bot (which I have seen but scripts are so basic that it wont allow for roleplay attacks)

Basic ideas
-Hud command it
-Can follow you or you can tell it to wait, follow someone else, go to a certain location, etc.
-After a certain distance away from player, bot reappears next to player.
-Can roleplay attack animations (Must work with roleplay damages. Don't know how this can be done.)
-Dont know how much you can change the looks, sex, etc. of a bot or have to make different style bots, (1 girl, 1 boy, different characters, pets, etc.)
-name change-able, title change-able.

let me know if you can do this request/what you think of it. Full permission to take idea and start selling variety on xstreet. Etc.

I built a bot at one time that could do the things that you mention either 'out of the box' or with a little additional effort, but it's been quite some time and several SL server versions since I've even looked at it.

The roleplay damage part is actually pretty easy, really, because you just program the bot to use roleplay weapons. For instance, my NPC was designed to use Combat Samurai Island weapons, so it was able to fight and kill (and be killed by) human players simply by sending the same mouse and key messages that a player would have done.

I bring this up not because I'm selling my bot - I'm not - but because I wanted to mention that the bot was made using the libopenmv (formerly libsecondlife) codebase. If you know C# or VB.Net programming it should be a relatively simple matter to download their code and extend the TestClient project to do all of the things you mention and more. More information can be found here: http://www.openmetaverse.org/

And if you are not familiar with C# programming, or simply don't have the time or whatever, then perhaps knowing that the bot can be built using that code will help you in your search.

Thanks Robby, no I dont have a bot yet and starting to figure I dont need it. But it is still a good idea for people who want to use the extra support roles in RP's
