I recently opened a dress store especially for male avies, to suit the needs of many crossdressers, transsexuals and gender-queers in SL. As far as I know I am the first (or at least at this time only) designer to design non-fetishwear flexi dresses especially for male avies in Second Life. I operate in a niche market, giving people the opportunity to reflect their whole identity by wearing female clothes on a male body instead of opting for a completely female avie.
At this moment I am starting to get sales, with at least a sale of a full-priced dress every other day or so, and several purchases of cheap items (a nice set of freebie non-prim shoes, some low-priced prim hair, a male shape to go with the dresses) on a daily basis. I am very excited at this sign of really filling a felt need in SL, but there is something missing. Quality prim high-heeled shoes!
I've noticed the male foot at size 0 is bigger than the female size 0 foot. This means a male avie cannot wear prim shoes designed for ladies. As there seems to be a demand for well-fitting dresses for male avies, I expect there to be a demand for well-fitting prim shoes as well. I would love to have a shoe vendor in my store as a service to my male customers, just like I have for my female customers at my other store. I am not a shoe designer though, I wouldn't know where to begin.
This brings me to my question: who would be willing to design a nice high-heeled shoes fitted to male avies (or adapt one of their existing designs)? I am looking for something simple and elegant that is suited to wear under different kinds of dresses: formal gowns, summer dresses and cocktail dresses. Sales aren't yet high enough for me to be able to offer payment for this service, but instead I would let you place your own vendor in my store, so 100% of each shoe sale goes directly into your own pocket. The shoe designer who helps me out may also pick out a free dress in thanks, either from my men's (LadyLike X-Dressers) or my women's store (LadyLike Creations).
