This is my first time posting in this forum.....but I'm far from new to the forums. I'm not sure wear exactly to post this request. (taking Katt Linden's blog into account about posting in the wrong forum). So, let me explain what I'm looking for. I've tried to make it myself in Blender but I'm so lost.......LOL.

I am not a clothing "designer". By that I mean I do not sell any clothing (actually I don't sell anything in SL). I do make most of my clothing though.......I also give away my clothes to my alt and some trusted friends. My current pet peeve is "glitch pants".....I hate them. I, however, love prim skirts. I make my skirts using a torus for the waist band to attach the prims skirt panels to. And, as all you know, a ring or oval does not really fit an avatar's waist. There are gaps where the belly curves to the hips and across the butt and the dip for the cheeks separation (hope that is not too crude......LOL). I've been trying for quite a long time to make what I want using Blender, but I'm not good enough for that yet. I'm thinking of a sculpt map or shape that follows the contours of an average female avatar's waist.......so most (if not all) the gaps are illiminated from using a distorted torus or ring or cylinder. I'm thinking of a sculpty that would be in the shape of a belt or waist band.....following the contours around the waist when worn low on the hips. I looked at a couple belts on SLX but they were just that......belts. I need something that I can apply my own textures to and resize to some degree or other for the fit I want or need. Ideally, I'm thinking of the belt or band as having sort of rounded edges so they do not look just like a belt. And a little thicker than a belt so I can attach the skirt panels which are usually slightly rounded at the top edge. And, of course, full perms.....so I can give copies to my alt and a couple friends.

Is this request possible?

Thanks,
Peggy

I would be willing to give this a shot. The question is, what is the average waist size? If you could drop me a shape with settings you want this fitted to, that would be a help.

Let me get in world and take a snap shot of me wearing a skirt I made today using the torus for my waist band. And I'll write down all the pertinent numbers since my shape is no transfer. That will probably be tomorrow after I get off RL work............after about 4 SL time. Is that okay?

And thanks for even considering it. :)
