Need Custom Av

I have been looking for months and months but this time i need something different. i need someone to "recreate" this Soldier. I will obviously pay a good but not outrageous amount of money for this. i need someone who has the skills and time. if you are interested and want to help and be paid of course PM me (Klaus Koskinen) inworld.

Last i checked about having a custom avatar done by a real artist they were very hesitant and was not happy even with an offer of $300usd.

The amount of time and effort put into custom textures and sculpts is unrecoverable usually if just charging one party. They actually would make a load more money just making the item and then setting it for sale to everyone, not just you.

There is also the issue of copyright that artist generally do not wish to mess around with, and making a copy of an already existing character/avatar from a game, for SL is probably stepping on a copyright. Also, many artists don't want to be "Copy Cats", they want to make their own version, not just reproduce a copy of some counter strike avatar (or whatever it is) because it gives them no motivation.

I have given up on trying to have real world representations of avatars reproduced in SL for 2 reasons: Money & Copyright.

Good luck, maybe you will find an artist who can recreate that avatar just the way you wish for the amount of money you are offering, but do not be surprised if it does not happen.

i have found 3 actually who wanted this kind of challenge, but all three had too much going on in their lives such as family deaths and not enough time since it was during the holidays but yes. i figure this is my last try to get some pro help. im sure like you said no one else would be really interested but its nice to know i tried.

18,000. but i have found a person but he wont be able to work till february but the price i stated is what he would have charged me for this Military Uniform. id like to see maybe if someone wasnt as busy as him and could possibly do this sooner for all the given info.

Lots of people say they can do something. Producing is another story.

Trust me i know the difference and this is a professional so i would think he would take this order if i paid him. Anyways thanks guys, ill show you the result when i can which wont be for awhile but its worth waiting for.
