Hi, Not sure where to put this, so I have started here. I recently bought a pair of trousers from a vending machine. The money was deducted and the goods delivered, or so I thought. The item contained a texture and a hover script, but no trousers. I thought that there was a problem, so I tried to buy again. I have IMed the dealer many times now and have been completely ignored. What is the procedure for raising a complaint against this dealer? I would like my refund or two pairs of trousers. (It's only L$180, but's it's my hard-earned money.) The dealer in question is [removed] and the store I bought from is called [removed] sim. Can anybody advise please? Wraith

Hi Wraith. You are right, in none of the sales boxes are there clothes. I decided to come out and look to see what happened, but as you said..you only get contents and contents include a texture of the outfit and the hovering text script. No pants. Is the texture that you got a clothing texture meant to be put on NEW pants? I'm not spending any money on their clothes just to find out. Either way.. I would keep trying to contact the creator but send word to LL as well. If this is an oversight and the clothes were left out of the sales box, that's one thing. If they meant to rip off their customer that's another issue that would fall into LL domain.
Wraith, before buying from a sales box again, right click on the box in question, select edit, select contents tab and you can see exactly what is in the box. This might help with future purchases.

I would advise to write up a polite summary of the problem on a notecard and drop a copy to the merchant, just in case he isn't receiving IM's for some reason. Be sure to include the date and time of the purchases and the transaction numbers from your account history, transactions page. Also be sure to put your name in the title of the notecard, so it'll be less confusing. If the store in question is pretty busy, you may need to allow a couple of days for a reply. Good luck!

also please note it is against the forum rules to mention names... might want to edit the post and remove the name of the person you purchased from
also this would have been better suited to the resident answers section as to being in the wanted section.

Also when you write him dont scream bloody murder just incase its a good person who made a mistake. Give them the benefit of the doubt and try to make positive contact to fix the situation.

Hi there, I have also heard many a Client complain about this problem. I have to! I would highly reccommend using the Second Life Business Burea first, (SLBB).They get great results and if the creator has done this in error, They will also help them to make it right. They have gotten clients back L for faulty items in excess of 10K. I would think that is a great start! You can find them in search with typing in SL Business Burea. I Truly reccommend going this route if you can not get a response froim the Creator! Cheers! Odessy
