Looking for an old musical instrument.

Hey there,

Maybe some of you veterans out there remember the 'instrument' im seeking. I found it a loooong time ago and not even sure if it exists.

It looks like a set of speakers in a circle facing towards the center. It would pickup on the spacial chat and play it back as music. The music would change with the words used, speed of chat, etc. The style of music was without singing just instrumental/technoish music.

Anyone seen or remember what I'm looking for?
