shiny metallic skin, preferably gold

I've become obsessed with trying to find a shiny gold metallic skin, but have had no luck. I saw someone in one a couple weeks ago, but neglected to ask the wearer where she got it and don't remember her name. I'll consider silver if I can't find gold, but I'm sure there's a gold one out there somewhere.

I've tried every combination of words I can think of in the Search window and been to countless stores, but can't find what I'm looking for. Any clues would be appreciated so I can get some sleep instead of staying up all hours in my fruitless search.

I had the exact same problem a few months ago when looking for a skin for my friend. I found a thread on these forums that was very helpful. If you want landmarks just IM me in world and I'll be happy to help you.

Chip Midnight had some metallic skins. No gold but the copper and silver ones are both shiny.

Govindira Galatea has a very shiny gold metallic skin.

Curio Obscura has clockwork skins, but I didn't find them all that shiny from the pictures. (The demos might be different).

I know there's a few goldish avatars at Grendel's Children but not sure if those avatars have shiny skins. You could check though.

Tekeli has a new avatar too with a goldish skin (but it's not so shiny).

Yabusaka Loon has shiny freebie skins. I'm not sure if they're still there but there's nothing to lose by having a look.

My friend eventually bought a skin which wasn't so shiny from somewhere else. Unfortunately I can't remember where. Well I do remember but they seem to have moved from where I remember the skins being. I'll ask her when she's on tonight though if you want. It wasn't an extremely shiny skin though but it was the one she liked best of them all.

You might also try looking up Eddie Escher's picks.... he makes metallic android skins in a variety of colors, including gold and silver.

Yes, Eddie's are fab. Also Yabusaka Loon has lovely free metallic skins.

I asked my friend about her gold skin and she said it was "Liquid Latex skins -- the note inside says contact Talsia Kirkorian". However the shop's moved from where I last saw it and I couldn't see the metal skins in the new one. Which could, of course, just mean that I've failed to see the obvious. I've been known to overlook the nose on my own face after all.
