Hi
I've been to a number of SL clubs and found that some avs turn up without clothes on - acceptable in most places but not always the choice of the club owner - built on mature land where some of the content is adult such as dance poles and chat between regulars but when a naked av tuns up with all the sex attachments it is not always welcome. Rather than boot/ban these people has anyone invented an object (like a wimbledon hoop or a cardboard box) that can be told to attach itself to an avatar around the torso with messages on to remind them that the land/club owner would like them to be dressed whilst spending time there.
perhaps something where the owner could change the message on it - 'keep the mouse in the house pal - this is a family establishment' or 'oops all mouth and no trousers'
think it might be quite popular

Can't find anything with my own search but I remember a friend experimenting with a modesty gun.

It works with free moving avatars but not with dancers...

we had someone show up at our skybox the other day and offer hugs, if you accepted, the animation tweaked your avatar into very twisted and odd shapes... any prims or clothes fell off and you where stuck moving around like a twisted piece of metal, only a reboot solved the problem.

we banned the person offering hugs and it stopped.

ok ok, maybe that was a bit off topic... but it made me think of it. =/

Heh I think it would fall under a bit of a "griefer" object, but there are some "toys" that allow you to put something on other people, a friend of mine has one that puts a silly skirt on you, you can make other people fart, etc etc.
Maybe something that makes a "Censored" sign on the person's pelvis.

All you have to do is call up the FCC and tell them about it. Believe me, the fines for the avatars will be in the thousands of Lindens.

Seriously though, I'm agreeing with the other suggestions. You need something similar to the things that burn avatars, but instead of fire, just something solid looking so it covers them up. I'll see what I have in my inventory that I could maybe modify.

Heehee, censored boxes would be cool. Or black boxes - wait, particle black boxes covering the naughties, so that they face you from any angle, like censor boxes on TV :D

Renee a modesty gun sounds like a good plan but if it resembles a weapon it might give the wrong impression -Griptape would love to know if you come up with anything and Erin - really like the tv censor boxes idea
