A female friend wants to change her shape by adding more booty, thicker thighs and legs but doesn't want to touch her face at all. I told her I would ask here for her.
Now, this would be shapes I know but where can it be found? I know many shapes and skins change your features (looks, face) but where can she go to buy this without it changing her face?
Really good skin too, not cheap or mediocre.

Okay - you cant change Just your figure but not your face buy buying an item. A Shape changes face and figure at the same time. Thus she will either have to Modify her shape , or have someone do that for her. Alterantively someone could duplicate her face on another shape if they have a good eye. Skins always change the apearance of the face - becuase skisn are the textures that cover the body. Usually after you change from one skin manufacturer to another you will need to adjust the nose, lips and eyes slightly to achieve a similiar result as the previous skin. Good question to ask - what permissiosn does she have on her shape? If they are mod/transfer then you can get someone to do the figure changes for her. |

I'd recommend Custom Body Work in Galactica. If the current shape is mod, the owner will change just the body without changing the face... but she does full shapes to order, so it should work either way.

Check out Child Haven - they have full kits - four shapes - one face. I think they're on SL Exchange, too - and they are modify - so you can change it more if you want.  |

This got me thinking: A merge button on Edit > Appearance would be nice.
1. Click it and it asks you to select a shape in your inventory. 2. It then produces a lists of checkboxes corresponding which the parts you'd like merged with the shape you're wearing. 3. Click OK and voila .. happy avatar. Moddable shapes sellers might be upset though.  |
