Is there such an item as a Reminder Calendar that I can buy? Something that I can modify to put in dates and times of events and it would pop up a reminder for me? I don't know enough about what info is available thru scripting and such to even know if this is possible. Or am I simply stuck with my normal computer reminder program?

Yes there are many Laptops in SL that give you this option. Try Pear Book and also just search on 'planner' or 'laptops' in classifieds. Also on NYTERAVE island there is a planner you can get. I think Sitting Lightcloud makes it. You might want to check it out.
