Hey,
I run a shop and I have an update group to announce new releases. Many people told me that they do not like the standard process of having to search for your group in the Search tool. Is there a script that makes group subscriptions as easy as clicking once on an object?

There's nothing in the scripting stuff that lets a script invite somebody to a group - it'd be too easy for griefers (or just stupid people) to abuse.
Best I've heard is something that sends you a message when somebody clicks on it so you know to add them manually. |

I saw an example on the Electric Sheep's sim, as part of promoting their water balloon event, and it looks to be an e-mailing one as well. Hi.... a friend of mine by the name of Randal Kline has made a script that lets people make a request to join your group . Then at least you know who to invite.

I made a script that sends you by mail if an av clicks on the group joiner. The mail contains the name of the av so you can invite it later.
I made it configurable by chat commands but i can make it by dialog box as well. contact me Kahiro Watanabe |
