Tanjumura Village Welcome

The New Holstice Sim is hosting an event to officially welcome everyone to the newly built Tanjumura Village, home to the Tanjumura Market and the Kodaimata Samurai Clan. Here is the Event description, available in Find Events as well.

Join us Sunday, March 12th, at 11AM SL-time, for an official welcome to Tanjumura Village and the Kodaimata Clan on the New Holstice Sim. We are a medieval Japanese Samurai village and welcome serious roleplayers, guests, shoppers, and curious travellers.

Brief itinerary: a tour of the village and market, including some general questions and answers; a wonderful lecture on Buddhism and Bushido by Pratyeka Muromachi; and hopefully a combat demonstration featuring Archanox's new Katana combat system.

Please join us for the event. And if you are interested in roleplay as a samurai or a villager, women too, please stick around and inquire with us. We want to make this the best Samurai and medieval-Japan village we can, and we need people to join us and help.

Just a bump to remind people of our event this weekend. I do hope people will stop by. Even if you do not wish to join our RP, it is still a beautiful sim (ok, I am biased). Plus the Buddhist lecture and combat demo should be interesting for all.

Having visited this sim, I can state that it is a truly beautiful place, well worth visiting.

One caveat. They do prefer that visitors be in Human Japanese form. That wasn't clear on their entry card (which is being updated) so I arrived acting very much pre-1600 Japanese, but in the form of an anthro fox. I do apologize to any residents who I offended with my appearance. I did not mean to upset anyone.

Starchaser is correct. We do prefer Japanese Humans of the 1600s or so for our Roleplay. But anyone is welcome for our non-RP-specific events (like we have today) and to shop and look around. I have updated the notecard, btw.

FYI, the Event was originally posted as happening in Triangulum - It is actually in New Holstice, as the description says. The event has been corrected, so you can TP in. We will be getting started shortly, so hurry on over.
