More proof that the asset server is so bloated it has it's own gravity, and has thus slowed down time for the Ops Team. I saw this on Stargate once. Carter had to detonate a nuke to unstick time.

I think maybe the Ops team just doesn't have a penchant for mass communication. We've debated using the blog as a way to publish our deeper technical developments (such as how to use dhcp to manage host-based routes and the problems with doing so), but it's not clear that there's an audience. Alternately, if you'd like to suggest a more digestible topic, we'd be happy to post about it.

I'd comment on using dhcp to manage host-based routes. OMG would I comment. Blech.

Okay for a fresh start, post the teams goals; then we'll comment on ideas related to them. That'll give you at least a year's worth of topics. Each subsequent topical post will garner more specific comments after you (sombody on the team) itemize(s) operational objectives. We'll gain loads of insight and you'll gain tons of residential input.

Conversely, decide that y'all have no interest in such a dialogue and ask your webmaster to remove the link from the blog page.
