I am doing what I should have done long ago, leaving the forums. Overall, I think the SL community is intelligent, witty and creative.
The forums showcase the bottom of the barrel though. It is almost impossible to keep ANY THREAD on topic here because the assholes come out of the woodwork to derail them. A thread about the color blue will invariably bring up how Bush is stupid. A thread about how long an inch is will spiral to name-calling and how the Nazis should make a comback. A thread about the shape of the circle will most likely end with pictures of rabbits with waffles on their heads and a few people going to the cornfield for a day or two.

Ok, now that aaron is gone, the forums can go back to the normal dignified scholarly discussion
my oh my, it was rather difficult to act so juvenile, but our hard work has paid off! aaron has left the building (run screaming from) boy, we will have some fun at the polo match laughing about this. it took some work and EVERYONE cooperating to accomplish this feat, but you have all come through with flying colors we will be adding a special psychiatric discussion post philosophy hour and prior to the ballroom dancing, where we will all discuss the various joys of watching a persons psyche break on the innerwebs once again, thank you all for your hard work. we were successful in driving aaron insane _____________________
