The problem is a bulletin board is no place to be trying to accomplish what you claim you want to accomplish. If you truly believe in what you say you want to accomplish then you wouldn't be on this board posting about it rather than contacting LL and authorities. You have turned what might have been a noble cause into a trolling fiasco. Put your energy into doing something that will make a difference rather than spinning your wheels on a bboard.

you didn't read...or you didn't understand...what Torley wrote.

I think she is a brilliant, brilliant Linden, and a wonderful resmoden, and I have just told her in IM that whatever the Lindens are paying her isn't enough. (Note to Philip: double her salary.)

Commonsense and judgement are rare enough, and she adds in compassion, and articulate communication.

There are times in RL when you talk to people and know that however long you talk, they will never see your point of view and you will never see theirs. In RL you finish your drink and go home. Torley just did the forum equivalent of calling the end of the night. I think you will find that many many people support her action, and I hope they will all post here.

Before I head off to bed *yawns, wondering at her sanity at staying up so late yet again* I'd like to make a small suggestion that could possibly prevent this from continuing throughout the week. It's entirely likely that a certain person is going to start yet another thread and yet another and keep going as each one is closed when they inevitably get out of hand. We can prevent this by refusing to reply to any new threads on this same topic started by this person. If we all just agree that the poor badly beaten horse is dead and just refuse to reply to any new posts she starts each one will die quietly and without fanfare.
