Hey SL'ers! You may have noticed (or not) my absense from SL lately. As some of you may know (or not) I discovered WoW a few weeks ago and well I am having so much fun. So I am pretty much outta SL. I quit all my volunteer groups in hopes that frees up a spot for someone else who will be in-world. So if you are thinking about it, PLEASE apply because I had some of my most enjoyment volunteering. I also will no longer be DJ'ing or holding events at Schmooze.  Thanks to Tya Fallingbridge for the AMAZING support she has given me and for believing and trusting in me. You are incredible and your are in my opinion one of THE best builders and texturers on the Grid. Pixel Dreams is awesome and Schmooze is THE best looking, most lag free nightclub around. I have lately just not "felt it" when I have logged into SL and WoW has just caught my attention for now. It is amazing to have 71 SL'ers in our Guild on Lightninghoof so I will always be in touch with that is happening in SL. I am sure I will occasionally pop in-world for special events, like the Linden Snowball Fight for example. Thanks to all my super friends who made the world so much of a joy. See ya around. /wave |

take care Rick!! I played WoW for 4 months while on break from SL.. I got to level 57 and was of course hanging out with all my old friends from "those types of games from the last 7 years". I had a blast. High end really sucked and got boring. I'm thankful for SL because I can go afk and not worry about dieing.. Or take a few weeks off and not worry that I can no longer hang out with my friends because they outlevel me. hehe.. But I fully understand the appeal. Hope to catch up with you when/if you come back to SL. Have fun in the meantime!! *HUGS*

Well, despite how long ago you may have posted this, it's news to me. I took a break from SL, too, (as you may or may not have noticed) because I'm getting ready for the move of my life - very first house for the win-! But, anyways, I came back to SL to find, much to my horror, that you were gone. I went investigating in the forums, and sure enough here you are announcing that you've left. It's a shame you won't be around much anymore, you were one of the main reasons working at Schmooze was fun. I'm just here to let you know that your obscene jokes and your amazing personality will be greatly missed to me and probably a horde of many others. Feel free to message me if you ever need anything.
P.S. Alliance side of Argent Dawn rules you!

ReallyRick left WoW about 3 weeks ago after reaching level 60 (which is the level cap) and getting the most Alliance kills on the server. He has went on to another game, but didn't want to mention which one.

Hey Hey Ghanima! LOL Obscene jokes? I made obscene jokes? I played some dirty songs when I was DJ'ing but I didn't know I was obscene. Yeah WoW grabbed me in and since the sim was never going to be finished I left. I hear it still isn't done. Meh, oh well. Alliance...HA! For the Horde! I had THE most Alliance kills on our server! Got to lvl 60 with my Tauren Shaman and the rank of Champion. Lemme guess, you were a Gnome...no no a Night Elf! You seemed like the type who would have gone for that Goth Undead look. I haven't moved on to another game yet, don't really have the opportunity right now to play anything. Maybe I will come back to SL or WoW in a few months. |

Hugz ReallyRick I like WoW too, goals and killing is a stress reliever I too go threw periods of not "feeling it" in SL I too take these long breaks. I'm glad your not leaving entirely. Come see the sewer if you get a chance might make you smirk. It's a work in progress currently but I needed to share a little fun in SL lol. Sometimes its just fun to build some goofy idea. Maybe inspiration will hit again and we will see your purdy face again Hugz Cat |
