i get the feeling that next week will see another surge in new accounts, what with Mr. Rosedale speaking at GDC on monday.

from the GDC newsletter:
From: someone
Virtual world pioneer, Philip Rosedale, founder and CEO of Linden Lab, the 3D virtual world design company behind Second Life, will be presenting "You Can (Not) Be Serious" on Monday, March 20.

and.. the full write-up.

congrats to Philip (and LL) for this keynote speech! i can just imagine what it would be like to find Philip "shop-talking" with Will Wright!

but more than new accounts, this is a decent step towards industry acceptance and viability. it could very well herald another push forward towards this direction, bringing in people who will be able to work alongside with all of us to forge ahead into a brighter, more productive, future for SL.

Ps - ResMods, *waves* (HI! :)), i hope i put this in the right place. i was going to throw it in General, but figured it comes across more as a notice/well wishes thing.. plus it has a lot to do with RL, instead of just SL.
