While SL experienced downtime, I was shopping for 1 Gb DRR ram.
If you see me zipping through your builds, exploring your sky box or any other curious behaviour, don't be alarmed.
It is just a Frans who is enjoying his secondlife with 1.25 gb ram and a lot of enthusiasm.

Your regular Frans will return after the novelty wears off.

Edit: Extra warning, Shiny is enabled. That's right, I repeat. it is ENABLED!
Keep your Shiny protected because it will attract Frans.

Opening photoshop while in sl, it startsup quicker then it ever did even without sl on.

And I'm quite envious of you right now...
I'd be happy with a computer that at least met the minimum requirements for SL...

Not sure how I have it running, but I got it up and running on an old P3 600MHz machine with 768MB of RAM (both of which are maxed out unfortunatly) and an old Matrox 32MB graphics card. Needless to say I have pretty much everything turned off and see gray textures for a long time.

But I'm happy as I can at least get in world and fish at Neo-Realms while making sure my scripts don't have missing ;'s and such with the compiler.

Tried DarkLife last night juts for something differant. Amazingly enough, as laggy as Navora is, the textures loaded faster there than any other sim I've been to. And I had less packet loss. It was odd. And I actually managed to kill a root without a lag-death. Of course I had about 5 million lost targets and too far away to attack messages when standing right next to the monster.

*needs to steal the gf's computer to play DL later*

Anyone got spare SL-worthy computer parts they'd like to donate? *lol* j/k (Not really)
