For anyone who cares, I'll be taking a little break from SL and the forums for at least a few days. Taking my 2 yr old and 4 yr old on a trip by train... for 2 days... by myself

Try not to miss me toooo much - I'll be back on the forums at least a little bit when I get to my destination.

Yes, I am crazy, thank you for noticing. :p

Have a great trip, Joy :) Off-topic will be a bit less sane without you (and not in a good way).

thanks, we're really looking forward to this trip, except for my stupid brother, who better NOT sit by me during the ride, because he's icky.

OMG - Why do I have these visions of you sitting between Taco and another little one and the two of them pointing at each other screaming "He's looking at me!" the entire trip?

We will miss you. Have a good trip, come back soon. :p

Have a wonderful and safe trip!!

I know you know this, but: lots of little bags holding lots of little food (Cheerios, Goldfish, etc.).

Something I have learned on long trips---Crayola Markers that draw only on special Crayola paper (it is expensive and wasteful, but who wants to put a dollar value on sanity?). :D

Have a great trip Joy. I’m not suggesting you strap Taco into a kids seat and sedate him with sleeping pills for the duration of the trip, BUT it would be a lot more relaxing that way, yknow… just sayin… ;)

Have a great trip, Joy, you brave woman! I'm stocking up on tequila for your triumphant return. And Sally is keeping that special dip on ice :D

I finally got access to a computer and didn't have to fight any kids for it :D

I see I didn't miss a whole lot - same drama, just in different threads. The kids were remarkably well-behaved - and it was a long trip - delays everywhere, but we finally got to New Mexico only 2 1/2 hours late. All I can say is, if you go by train with small children... do not go coach - we had to from Portland to Sacramento. Fortunately, I was able to seat us in the accessible seats (lower level and only 3 other people in the car). Also, $4.50 for a bottle of Heineken is a small price to pay ;)

Anyway, I'm back at least to the forums... will attempt to get in-world at some point in time.
