I just wanted to thank all the money tree sponsors and donors out there. The trees have been really helpful to newbies like me.

I had never been aware of the existence of money trees. When I first saw a post in the forums about 'money trees' and thier locations in world I really thought, at first, that it was a joke, and an attempt to fool noobs into comming to those places.  OK so I was a cynic......

You're welcome Alpha! I've had my money tree up for a long time now in Chartreuse and hopefully it will be there for a long time to come. We don't always hear a word of thanks so it's really nice of you to say so  . |

As a money tree host I applaud someone who gives thanks in a post
It's nice ocasionally and I get sometimes an IM from a money tree user new resident which makes me smile and belive it's worth it. I grow one money tree so far in Orelle, in Silk Waters japanese village 'Lowtown' and I often hang around there or while there greet new residents hovering to use the tree on the MOney Tree run...
some speak, some stay to chat, some become friends, others take money and continue on their way to the next tree without a word.
Either way I am glad to be a Money Tree sponsor and consider it one of the best things ever invented in SL.. and I not only run my regular draw but i regularly top up my tree with donations dependent on how good my store earns...
I am often heartened by donations made from my market traders who enjoy free stalls, and most of all by former 30 day money tree usesrs who drop back in to donate L$5 or L$10 a touching and worthwhile gesture. I always try to thank anyone by IM who donates to my tree and overall I think one of the great inventions of SL so simple so neat so powerful
one of the things you wish you had invented eh?
long may they grow... a nice idea in the midst of a commercial greedy world

Torrid & Snakekiss - Your trees are always in my runs! Nice to hear from you. I honestly wasn't expecting any replies to this. o_o
I agree, Money Trees are a wonderful thing, especially in a capitalistic virtual society. It's like a little light or hope out there - knowing that there are still generous, kindhearted people out there.
Ok, getting corny... it is appreciated! I hope some day I can give back. =D
