Apologies for the Plywood Build in Orwood

For any interested SLers, I apologise for the length of time my new build has spent in plywood only on the Orwood Peninsular.

Just after I started getting into designing and building it, my laptop fried it's motherboard and I am currently waiting a fixed and working replacement. Hopefully this won't take much more than another week.

Anyway, as soon as I get SL installed and running it should start to take shape and look a darned sight better.

Though Orwood is not zoned or regulated, I try to keep my property relatively clean and nice, and I'm happy to see others making sure the sim looks nice overall.

Unfortunatley HP seem to lack any concern for the time they take fixing things.... I should know... I work for them

It looks like I won't get the laptop back until the middle of next week at the earliest and then I'll have to spend time loading eveything back on and reconfiguring it. The first thing they do... no matter what... is format the hard drive and put a base install back on. They did this last time, even though the only thing wrong with it was a faulty power supply

Anyway, I guess this time has allowed me to formulate my plans for the build a bit better. A sort of Edwardian Mansion type thing with Egyptian over tones here and there. Once people are allowed in to look around, they'll realise why..

It is rare to hear any explination on a build in progress. All of SL is a work in progress Even so I have to say this post made me smile this morning. What a rare and lovely thing to read.
