Now THAT'S what I'M TALKIN ABOUT!! (This photo by Neogrinch Trenchmouth)I hope you all had a great time! I felt some awesome energy this morning and I am still riding it! The turnout was outstanding depsite the event being at 2 am SLT on a work day (5 am for me!!). Midnight City and Fame sims were comfortably filled while Lukanida provided a more private setting. If you would like to enjoy the event in re-run, feel free to swing by the northwest corner of Midnight City to see the museum and watch the movie. I want to thank the following people who pitched in and made the whole thing work: Pepto Majestic - Exploratorium staff in charge of the video feed. Patio Plasma - Exploratorium staff, physics guru, and international SUPERSTAR. BuhBuhCuh Fairchild - Allowed us to use his Alt-Zoom sim for this event. Torrid Midnight - Made some ass-kicking shirts for the occasion Cristiano Midnight - Helping out with snapzilla ads stpaulsub Clio - Provided refreshment cart and mirth. Reuben Tapioca - The man with the plan Lakshmi Sprocket - Exploratorium staff (This photo by Frans Charming) (This photo by Garnet Psaltery) (This photo by Torley Linden)

It was enormous fun, and awesome in both senses of that word. The amphitheatre added to the occasion and everyone got really involved .. including I think a whole minute of silence while we watched the last arc of sun disappear from view and the halo of coronal mass ejections appear around the edge of the moon. It reminded me to look at the sky everyday. Take advantage of it while you can - one day the clouds might never lift.

I would have liked to have attended this. I'll never understand why you picked such an odd time to have this event. about 75% of Second Life Citizens live in the U.S. and this was scheduled at a very bad time for us. Please if you do an event like this again, make it at a time in which more people are available, thanks.

AS I dident see the wonderful natural thing at the screen in Midnight City.... I used NASA – http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/nasatv/ – and http://www.exploratorium.edu/eclipse/2006/index.html Plus had SL open all the time.. what a feeling.. Here are four shoots from my corner of the world.. This still feels great - to be in SL plus using the net.. for all this.. WOW...
