NO do not go. look I was just doing what I been asked to do as a ResMod. I do not what ppl to be so upset with me that they go away mad. I love SL a lot and the ppl but I do not what ppl to hate me for just Volunteering my time as a Resmod. and I DO NOT what ppl to go away do to me.. So I will step down as ResMod and maybe just go away.

i don't blame you, but if LL wants to kill their forums, fine, let them

they own it, apparently having $11 million gives you a lot of leeway in how happy you make the customers that helped bring you to the dance

again steve, this has no DIRECT bearing on you or any other Resmod personally

your biggest mistake was allowing LL to use you like this, to be honest

it is completely assured to produce results like this, regardless on how well/poorly any individual resmod performs

this isn't you directly man, this is LLs mess that they better clean up before they burn through that $11 million

There are a couple that I'd really like to put on ignore, but that's not because of their modding, and you aren't one of them anyway.

The Resmod programme would work just fine if people would stop attacking them and let them get on with their work.

The problem is that people are not used to having to behave and follow a set of rules in these forums, not the fact that people are now trying to tidy up the forums to make them actually useful.

I understand your frustration with the resmod program and admit that my own forum participation has been altered by it. However, I'm not seeing how your leaving the forum, even if as part of a mass exodus, will effect LL's bottom line (the $11 million you refer to here). I'm not saying you wouldn't be missed - you are indeed a popular poster - but how does that relate to LL's financial well being? There lies the dilemna; is the happiness quotient of the forum participants a factor in the success/failure of the game itself? All self importance aside, is there a correlation between forum participation and activity in SL or does it boil down to being more trouble than it's worth to LL?

but he is right the "OMG how dare you expect me educated person, to behave in a civilized manner and follow guidlines!" attitude people have taken is pretty sad

this is but a symptom of a much much more severe problem

seriously, look at poor steve. he did what he was told and thought was right. Then he is forced to clash with residents over it, and that poor guys reward for trying to give back is, you guessed it, frustration

I stayed out of the resmod fray when it started, but the old saying "1st they took the {blanks} and no one cared" now i'm minding my business doing my thing and SEVERAL times in the last week I was resmodded. repeatedly. sometimes i could understand, other times I was baffled and left frustrated

maybe it was the age play thing, but this week something changed and residents were at war with each other and resmods seemed to be proving that they had authoritah!

and I didn't claim that I paid the 11 million. But if they are blowing off "one businessgirl." they will basically blow anyone out. And i do beleive LLs sack with anshe was directly related to the $11 million.

MM, i could certainly make a list of 20 threads here with very valid in world concerns. I have no intention of bashing LL on that magnitude. I don't want to see this happening to the fake world i retreat to when the real world sucks

I guess so, thanks. I'm in a similar spot I guess. I tend to vote in the only way that lends any validity to it (that is with my money) but in this case I don't see that making a difference. Like you said, if Anshe's stash doesn't make a dent, you know that the likes of you and I aren't going to influence anything. For me, the best path is the least stressful one since I suffer no delusions of importance here, but you had brought up the money quotient so I was wondering if you thought there was potential for effecting the powers that be along those lines.

which is a cryin shame considering speech (thought in essence) is being so drastically curtailed in , as I said, land of impeach bush

but the Laboratory has decided that it is pushing full steam into an iceberg, so I imagine it has insurance (in the form of $11 million)

There's no frame of reference involved beyond the state of the forums.
