Would a Linden kindly like to explain to me and the community why the avatar "Skinhead Mission" was asked to change his name or leave ?

You openly allow under age gambling and pornography.

You turn your back on theft and cheating.

You blatantly ignore abuse unless you have a priest as a witness to it.

Yet you seem to have the time to pick on someone because YOU find their name objectionable.

(If you didnt like the name - why did YOUR system allow it in the first place ? )

What crime has Skinhead supposed to have commited ? Who did he kill ?

I have had dealing with him in world and have found him a polite and sensible person to deal with - so what is YOUR beef with him ?

If you cannot - or will not - answer the question kindly give a definitive list of all world terms and groups that YOU find objectionable so that we shall know in the future which ones not to pick.

Wouldn't want to pick "BaldMan Walking" or something would I ?

(In case no answer is forth coming - an email containing the same question will be sent to every published address within LL until I do receive an answer )

Hi Adriana,

Those are unfair generalizations. We certainly don't allow underage gambling and pornography--on Teen Second Life, games must be of skill, not chance, and porn is most certainly isn't allowed there either.

I've seen many cases of abuse resolved firsthand, and unfortunately, with so many, some do get missed and we do appreciate the reminders and further info should we lack specific details to sufficiently investigate them. Yes, really.

I don't know Skinhead Mission personally and he sounds like a nice fellow from what you're saying, but I can't comment on private matters of another Resident's account--same as I wouldn't give up your info if someone asked for those details. The forum Guidelines do recommend:
Recourse: If Linden Lab takes disciplinary action against you that you believe was unfair or inconsistent, you may appeal the decision. An appeal is an e-mail explaining your situation and why you believe you should not have been disciplined. Appeals must be sent to abuse@secondlife.com, and must follow this appeals procedure, or they will not be considered. You may submit only one appeal per disciplinary action.
so that's what I'd recommend him to do if he feels it was unjust.

I also wouldn't mass-email us because not only would that be spamming :(, but we're already aware of this. And of course you posted here too.

Hopefully this works out for the best.
