Woah, back up a moment there! Since WHEN do you have to be Premium to buy land that is NOT Linden owned Mainland properties???
If that is true, you'll bankrupt the private estate owners, who get a very large part of their land holders from the Players who are NOT Premium account holders!
I'm about to close a deal on 4000 M2 of land on a private Island. If I have to become Premium now to buy that, the you just KILLED that land deal!
If that is a bug in 1.12, it needs to be fixed immediately! We have NEVER had to be Premium to acquire land that is not on the mainland before.

Thank you Torley. Hopefully they will also fix the glitch that took away the ability for Estate Managers to subdivide land, and the stupid requirement that the sim owner has to reclaim a parcel to subdivide or otherwise adjust it. Just worked with my sim owner to subdivide a 1024 M2 plot out of the group-managed main portion of the estate that I am supposed to help manage for him. He had to reclaim most of the island, set aside and deed that tiny plot from it, then set the main portion back to the land management group. What a pain... Before 1.12, I could have done the whole thing for him, and didn't have to disrupt the settings on the rest of the sim to do it!
