Sim Performance As Of Late?

I've noticed since about the beginning of august that quite a few sims have seemed to lapse in performance. The Sim FPS and the Time Dilation are shooting down and the sims seem woefully unstable. A reset and some of the rolling updates seemed to fix this for a little less then a week but then it started back up again. Im noticing dips in sim performance in a Sim that hadnt had lag problems for a good solid year and then all of a sudden its like it just started crapping out. I've witnessed this in at Least 20 sims in the last month. Is this a known issue and is there possibly some kind of fix on the way as this is a bother to quite a few people including myself.
