Premium Membership

I came to SL about a week ago, I have come far in this past week, Seen and heard many things. Now my question is this to Linden Staff Only.

I feel if we are paying Premium Membership every month to you that you should up the away time to at least 1200secs away time. Now for those who are camping. I have another question.

Many has told me there are scripts I can get to keep me online longer then the 600secs you give for away time. When I asked where do I get such a script, I was told to asked a Linden Helper. hmmm Now I did this tonight and this person claimed at the beginning of our conversation she never heard of one. But then when we was almost done from speaking, then she said well we don't recommend to use these.

I wasn't born yesterday or today, she just busted her ownself, by stating she doesn't recommend them. For at the beginning she said she never heard of one. *roll eyes*

Well if there wasn't no script to stay online longer then how come I have been to many camping landmarks where some has been online more then 2 hours max. Making L$'s. How can this be if there wasn't a script for them to stay away that long in SL?

Now to the members of SL , If anyone knows how or where I could get one of these scripts could you please contact me in SL. I would love to do some camping just for the fun of it really and to get a extra of L$ to put back for some newbies that are free members and doesn't make no L$ because they are free members.

Being a premium member I will make every week 400L$ which in my book us premium members are being cheated because we pay apox. 10.00 a month and we only recieve between 4US$ to 8US$ apox. in L$'s. I feel if we are paying 10.00US$ a month we should be get 10US$ aka L$ money ... that is only being fair to us. For if it wasn't for the people who pay premium or higher membership this community wouldn't be so popular as it is online as well as I have seen it hit the news on TV...

So what about it Linden Staff. Will you be willing to up the away secs to 1200 and give us our full premium membership L$ that we pay to be here and make more?

Hello Muerte, while I'm not a developer, I'd like to say a warm welcome to Second Life and perhaps I can be of assistance. Now, what you mention, the "idle timeout", has been asked about for many ages--you can search the forums to see its extensive history.

With a Premium account also comes the right to own land; that's included in the cost. We're also exploring further options to make the value of a Premium account more attractive for our loyal Residents.

We don't have a current plan to up the idle timeout, but as you already know, at your own risk, there are other options. T'care.
