Dear SL'ers,
I own 4096m² of land with a lounge and some other objects I built and want to let these plot including the lounge/objects to someone.
I want the tenant to be able to create own objects/buildings on the land.
I DO NOT want that he is able to edit the terrain and the lodge/objects I built
I DO NOT want the tenant to pay any tier-/land-fees
What is the best the best way to set up land and objects for this demands?

If no one answers you here, IM me in-world. I'll be happy to go to your land and help you set it up, or have you take a look at the permissions on my rented land, so you can set it up on your land.

Art First create a 'rental' group and invite your tenant as a member. Set (note NOT deed) the land to that group - simply right click the land - select about land - click ' the 'set' button - click the group - click ok. Make sure the create box is checked and the land edit box is unchecked. Ask the tenant to make sure the rental group is active; you can then turn on auto return. This will allow him to place objects down, whilst 'foreign' prims created by others are returned, saving you having to return to the plot once in a while to clear unwanted prims. There are scripted radio and video objects available that you can set down and set to group. When the tenant has the group active, he will be able to operate these to select urls for both streams. |

Also bare in mind you're going to need atleast 3 people in the group to keep it active so you're friend/tenant can continue to use the land. =)
