Try the snow sims, but your best bet is the land search tool in sl and just keep looking till you find some.

And whereas in most professions these would be considerable drawbacks, in chartered accountancy they are a positive boon.

Does anybody know where snow and mountains combine? The poor guy wants a few sim names.
Hi again Oerbe. In SL terrain type goes in squares. If you want green valleys and snowy peaks, I really don't know if we can oblige, except at the border of two sims. I am sure someone will know. Keep checking back. Still having fun ?

No snow, but Cortina has a very high mountain top for sell. Bit pricey though.

As noted, we have the community FREE TIBET in Wakeley which you're welcome to join. The price for land there, mountain land in mature sim about 300 m from telehub near the Sutherland dam, a really pretty area, is $6/m. Because we offer this low price, we don't have the sales be immediate, because we've already had the experience of people buying into it to flip it and resell it.
But you can rent-to-buy, meaning you pay rent, and all the rent applies toward you purchase price. The terms are on the notecard.
Wakeley has mountain with some green flat in the foothills. It is rocky mountain, without snow. Well, you make do in SL. The Tibet is mainly of the Mind anyway.
You might also look at Refugio, where we have a parcel with snow and mountain. It isn't for sale because we have a mall and club on there now being rented out to tenants, but if you only need 1024 or so, we could perhaps carve that off the side, or again, rent it out to you while you save and look around. There might be some good snow bargains remaining in Refugio, Svan, etc. nearby.

Rent stalls and walls for $25-$50/week 25-50 prims from Ravenglass Rentals, the mall alternative.

There are sims where there's a transition between snow and green land. Check out Gourdneck, Duck, Clear, and Ess. There are especially steep mountains in Clear, and I noticed some land for sale.
