Real Estate Investment Trust

Would anyone be interested in forming a real estate trust? We'd all need to pony up some USD$ (or L$) to buy land in the hopes of re-selling it at a profit.

The to-be-formed company's P&L would go like this:

Land Sales
- Land Purchases
- Tiering Fees
------------------
Profit (Loss)

Anyone interested?

  1. How much of an investment is needed? How much capital are you planning to raise?
  2. Who will be the manager(s)?
  3. How will the manager(s) be compensated?
  4. How can the investors know/trust that their investments are handled properly?

yeah, if we can figure out a way to ensure trust and contract security, then it sounds good.

IM me in world about it.

;)

But it's a land baron group for the poor, isn't it? :)

On another note, something like this would be a great idea for individuals to pool resources to own land at a much lower cost per m2.

Seriously... Cat, don't let it bother you. I think, just my opinion mind you, you spend far too much time carrying on about this and that, and not enough time being creative. You need an outlet Cat! Now get in SL and torture some damn prims!!! :D

This would be an interesting way to arbitrage away left over land tier.

For example, if you have left over tier you don't need because the tier is not granular enough, you could sell it to Anshe for 50 cents on the dollar.
