I was wondering if the Lindens would enforce contracts in sim.
IE:
I make a notecard, no modify, no copy, and use it as a contract.
I do what ever for some one, they give a no modify, no copy, no tansfer notecard starting they got thier service/money/ect, with thier name as the creator, and accepting the contract. When they pay it off I give them a note card same way, saying they have payed me off.
If they bail on thier end of the contract, will the lindens enforce it, or am I out the money? I wanna do this, but I don't want to do it of people can just bail.
Thanks

Lindens could not possibly enforce that. You are on your own for something like that.
There have been several threads on "better business bureau" type arrangements, you might look into some of those ideas.

Or find someone you both trust who will hold the contract fees in escrow.
