I really need some help. I am sure the answer is elementary, but I just can't come up with it. Although I am convinced it probably involves a script of some kind.

I have a 6,000m of land that I would like to convert to property rentals. Four rentals...that will be rented by week will exist there. I would like to have the rentals partly furnished with 100 - 200 prims given to each incoming renter.

How are these types of rentals typically set up? Is the land usually divided? Has this been discussed in a previous thread? Can someone familiar take pity and fill me in?

Thanks so much,

~Liv

Is there no one out there who can mentor me through this?

Heya Liv - I'm no expert on this myself, because I've never done rentals. But I've got a couple ideas:

1. Use a rental stall vendor script - its phantom, and fills the space to be rented. If I'm not mistaken, Moonshine Herbst sells them, and there's two versions - an expensive one with no comission, and a cheap one where you pay a comission to him.

2. If you can subdivide these parcels, what about using the Land Pass List - and charge 'admission' to enter?

Just a couple ideas - there may be some better ones out there :) Hope this helps!

...thanks so much...at least I have a starting point, and it makes sense to me -- always a good thing in my technologically challenged brain.
